How Love Blossomed (end)
Akankha
I stood there, feeling vulnerable yet so resilient. I am so happy to see him smiling like that. Although it hurts so much, although tears threatening to come out, it's okay, his smile makes it bearable. I don't want him to get hurt like this, I hope she likes him back.
I will always hope for your love to Blossom, even at the cost of my withering love.
I will love you always swapnanil, forever.
But you'll never see me, again.
Seven Years Later
Swapnanil
"I- I'm so so sorry!!" A flustered girl stumbled, almost falling over me.
I held her up as she continued to apologize. This clumsy girl reminds me of Akankha, my lost friend.
Tha day I confessed to prema, she didn't answered right away but we gradually fell in love.
That day after talking to Prema, I ran to akki but she was nowhere to be found. I asked around but no one knew anything as if she never existed to them.
Then two days later she sent a text saying "hey! I was about to tell you but I didn't find the right time, I'm quitting college. Thanks for being my friend, swapnanil."
I felt surprised, betrayed, abandoned, to think she would end our friendship with just two sentences.
But as years passed, those feelings became vague as she became a distant memory.
