The Artist
I went to the DeGrazia Art Gallery in The Sun today. It was an hour drive from my home in Green Valley to its location in Tucson. Surrounded by towering dark mountains and saguaro , its desert location had once been an isolated place. The artist had chosen it for that very reason. My friend Sophia, like me, had relocated to Arizona from Illinois and she was with me that afternoon.
I have to admit a total ignorance of DeGrazia. My friend, who has lived in Green Valley for six years, has found many things to do and places to explore since her arrival. I’m grateful she shares them with me. Today’s experience was especially one of my favorites.
