A time in which I had my mate,
I guess even those who deeply bond can be separated.

I never realized how I did not validate you,
I can no longer continue to blame you,
For I made the first mistake,
One that led to me loosing you.

No other understood me as such,
No other invested as much,
Even through the distance,
I was the song you sang,
While you were the song I bled

Years continue to go on,
Yet I've felt doomed since,
My mistake,
For I have pushed such a beautiful soul away.

I've searched lands for such bond again,
Foolish aren't I?

No other could ever be you,
No other strides like you,
No other exudes like you,
No other brigtens the room with a smile like you.

Fate has led me to believe these notions,
Karma tells me it shall never be.
