It was 5:30 on a winter morning. And when she used to enter the class shivering, none of the boys could take their eyes off her. I was one of them. But unlike the rest of the boys there, I wasn't looking at her from inside the class. "My kind of people" weren't allowed to be their after the first bell rang. I was looking at her from outside the class through the half-broken glasses of the window which was adjacent with the last seat of the class. It was like this everyday. I wake up, complete my morning chores, sometimes have the privilege to get my hands on some half-eaten bread from the dumpsters and then end up standing at the same place where I am right now. You see I used to be a kid who enjoyed learning. It all started the day I saw a person, which I later found out was a Math teacher, draw some weird symbols on the board, which I later learnt were called numbers. It went on like this for a while and then long story short, the school later agreed to let me attend the classes provided I agreed to their terms which were as follows : I was not allowed to move from my spot so that I don't distract any other students, I should give my school allotted duties as the cleaner more priority and the third which turned out to be the most difficult was I can never interact with any of the students .
