She woke up at 3:00 am and went to the washroom. She could see two lighted eyes staring back at her from the mirror. She sat on the pot and the demon crawled out of the mirror. He smiled wickedly and walking on it's hooves, came near her. For the first time, she observed him so nearly. His thin pupil yellow eyes , stained sharp teeth, pricking black nails, tall muscular but slightly humped body and groomed black horns. She was scared for the first time, he came near her and said deep hello. The stench of his breath almost killed her but she couldn't dare react. He extended his hand and she placed her white frail hand on his palm, she could feel the immense heat straight from the hell. He stared at her expecting a reaction but she just smiled faintly. His hooves made a loud noise on the tiles of the washroom and she thought her parents gonna wake up. She shushed him and he sat down. His huge demeanor filled the whole space.

There was an awkward silence. And then the devil spoke in his gruff deep voice ,"It's good to see you like this. I have been seeing you through the mirror from the last many years and its kind of you to invite me over." The girl smiled weakly again and said ," I had seen you too many a times, but I never knew that it wasn't my imagination. Thanks for coming."

The girl then opened a pack of skittles and offered the devil some. He picked one, tasted it and his eyes lit up. He asked for more and emptied the whole pack in one go. The girl laughed heartily and the devil felt a little ashamed. He said," I am sorry but it was delicious. We don't get such stuff to eat in hell. Would you get me some more?"

After that day, the devil and the girl met many a times and had all the treats that are forbidden in abundance for children. They giggled sitting inside the bath tub telling each other stories of their separate worlds. A new kind of friendship began. Both found a best friend ❤️.
