I had to think about it for a few seconds-
then I said:
"When someone jumps from the roof of a burning house, it is not that he is no longer afraid of the fall, but the fear of the flames, the fear of burning is greater than the fall.
So someone who takes his own life does not do so because he is no longer afraid of death, but because the alternative is worse than...
