It's been nearly 30 years since the last time Starfleet incountered the BORG. Last night communication with the Starship ORIAN was cut off while sending a destress call.

The transmission came from sector 118. Little is known about this sector. The ORIAN was on a mission to get more information on the sector.

Starfleet is in fear that the BORG have returned. Our sister ship, the USS RYAN and our ship the USS PHOENIX have been ordered to investigate what had happened to the ORIAN.

(Three days out)

We have reached sector 118 and scans are showing a unknown type of particles coming from the third planet.

We are trying to make contact with the ORIAN, with no luck.
