Untitled Sci Fi Part 1
[[[Alien planet where all inhabitants are religious and happy, but the astronauts try to convert them of atheism for the future of their survival. ]]] 《《《*different races, different interesting religions and philosophies * 1 religion on this planet?》》》
******************************
The earth has been in bad shape for a long time. The population is around 47.5 billion people...  Most life is lived underground in a series of catacombs and tunnels, water levels have risen, bringing people further inland, which has created a multitude of problems. Land ownership is rare, public open spaces are almost nonexistent. There are very few forests and trees, and air quality is toxic to partly cloudy
Technology is our only savior. We now have the technology to safely and efficiently, if not very time dedicating, travel to other hospitable planets to help other planet nations before it's too late while frantically searching for ways to save our own.
I however feel blessed that I live in a day and age we can actually travel to new planets and visit other intelligent beings. I believe we have hit a pinnacle in human evolution where if we go any further, the meaning for, and reason to, live...life. That meaning will fade away from our memories and they won't return. And if man collectively have no sense of meaning for life, then their significance is less than a planet full of... well, I digress.
Early man era planets are like nothing else. Like heaven on earth! Beautiful lush, unspoiled forests, pure and clean water everywhere! And the cultures! The diversity between them, the philosophies, the arts, literature, wardrobes, the music, and of course, religion! Religious doctrines, ideas, beliefs and convictions. The religious devotion that some people, some entire cultures empires is absolutely fascinating to me.
But, it is the very religious fervor in these cultures are dangerous to both themselves and their environment. Themselves in the short term by unjust violence and wars, and in the long term by the inevitable overpopulation, pollution, and depletion of resources.
Another reason for arrival on a planet in this period of their development is their lack of certain technologies, mainly weaponry and anti aircraft systems. There have been previous missions where they are turned into vapors before they even hit the destination planet's atmosphere by weapons. Besides, the general consensus is if the technology on another planet is that far than they are too far gone to convince otherwise if they are not on the right path already.

The mission I will be joining will have the incredible task of dispelling the fallacy of religion and teaching these cultures the beauty and security of life as a fellow mortal spirit. The job sounds impossible but it has been attempted before with mixed, but quite good results. The simple act of landing in a spacecraft at the right moment in their development, at the right location, can give the visitors an incredible amount of persuasion power.
Since it's obviously an expensive and time consuming mission, I had to convince National and international space agencies and universities as well as ask for donations from church leaders.
My mission is to assimilate in another planet, find out their religious beliefs and learn about them. My studies show that there are roughly 4,200 different religions, belief systems, and denominations here on earth, not including atheists and agnostics.
The little amount of travel to other planets is typically limited to technology, medicines, and element exploration. There are of course things to consider such as the different variations of plant and animal life, but it's been found to be most beneficial to search for ready made medical discoveries and easily available and discovered elements as well as technological advances. Our government has made it strictly forbidden to introduce any new animal or plant life onto our earth or vice versa, unless absolutely necessary for intelligent beings' survival.
I believe it is important to find out as much as possible about what people think of as God, and the best way outside of what we can learn from our religious scriptures and testimonials here on earth is to go to another world, and learn much more, from a different world, so to speak. People who've never had contact with us here on earth.
Since the enactment of the Darwin Act we are now required to take dramatic steps to convert other intelligent planet beings away from the destructive poison of religion, and towards the truth, for their own survival. Religion, a critical but always destructive invention which diseases the masses and has plagued every thriving intelligent planet nation known to date. We feel that if we can thwart other intelligent  from experiencing this self destructive bump in their evolutionary process, that the prosperity of their livelihood and their longevity as a planetary species will thrive. Because as we know, any species to go through the curse of religion is doomed to erase its own existence in a rather short amount of time.
The flight was a swift 8 months, 24 days, landing, as planned. I learned a lot about myself in those almost 9 months, I'm not looking forward to the return trip, if there will even be one.
Upon arrival we were greeted as Gods. They have been meticulously tracking our arrival and seem to be under the impression that we were sent by a Supreme being. We have our work cut out for us. But it's a good start.
We immediately have a bit of authority without even saying a word. Converting an entire planet of beings to reject their religion, that's the job of Moral Missionaries, a ingenious group of psychologists, philohiphists, and neuroscientists. I personally have the freedom to assimilate in the cultures and learn what I can.
The flora and fauna are almost identical, as well as the intelligent beings, they are completely human from the best we can tell.
We've learned over the years that given the right biological conditions, life develops rather predictably, including the development and eventual destruction of human beings and their environment. Including the extinction of numerous plants and animals and destruction of conditions required for life.
