THE MIDNIGHT FRIEND

Somewhere afar from the east,
He pursues a star in the midst
Of the wilds; a land of no man
He is found to be the only one.
He has walked for many a year
Nonetheless, he is far from getting near.
The soles under his feet get weary,
Yet, his soul never gets worry.
This has being Omni's adventure;
Omni!, an alien; a lost stranger,
Found in the middle of the jungle
With apes and birds to mingle.
...
It has being an all night long;
The nightingales tune up a song.
They welcome him in their abode;
"Behold! here comes he like a god!"
He sits with a bended legs
And leans on an oak tree to rest.
He grips unto a bunch of banana,
Then gluts himself out of hunger.
With erect body from the ground,
The king of the jungle came around;
He narrates, "My Name is Omni!,
And this is the journey of my story;
It has no beginning nor end;
I'm just ... the midnight friend!!!"
