How Do You See Yourself? Your Perception
How you see yourself is greatly dependent on your mindset, and to a great extent determines how you feel others think about you. If you see yourself in a positive light, there are chances that your feelings about others' perceptions of you will be positive, and the reverse is the case if you live with a negative mindset. Negative mindsets are very powerful, and the effects of false perception as it relates to others' thoughts cannot be overemphasized.

Have you ever had moments in your life when you felt others were having ill-perception about you, and later discovered the feelings were all delusions? These were probably moments you detached yourself from the world around you and clung to yourself.

Such false perception brought by such moments could be a result of a feeling engendered by a past short-coming you aren't proud of; you might have thought others were harboring such a past to your discredit. The reason is that past short-comings have a way of building strongholds in one's mind that can prevent one from seeing issues, as well as life positively.

Strongholds affect one's anticipation; instead of anticipating a positive response from others, one tends to expect the negative. As a result of this, many relationships have been marred. Think of the damages that have been caused to blissful relationships and you will marvel at the extent to which false perception could be disastrous.

The consequences of delusion about others' perceptions about oneself go beyond how it can shatter one's relationships, one's life can also be endangered as well. As one goes through life in such an ill state, one's peace and joy are tampered with, and this can result in extreme problems like depression.

On the other way round, healthy thoughts about others' perceptions of oneself will make a great difference in one's relationships and every other thing that pertains to one's life.

The benefits are enormous and all-encompassing.

Those who occupy their minds with positive thoughts concerning others' perceptions are immune to the nasty consequences of delusion and are open to the numerous benefits healthy thoughts bring -- joy, peace, love, and all the goodness you can think of.

So, attracting these benefits all depends on your perception, and the ball is in your court to make the choice. You can choose to be positive and be happy, or choose to be negative and be sad, or you can choose to move with the right perception or move with the wrong perception. As I have said earlier it all depends on your choice.
