PERVERSION: THE WORD OR THE WORLD
Many today sees the Bible as a book which contains the word of God; so if that be the case, not everyone written therein is the word of God; because to them it’s a book for many things of which God is part of it. This on its own is a departure from the truth just as the scripture itself pointed out thus:
Warnings against False Teachers Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.

We can see that such teaching are inspired not by the holy Spirit but by the devil himself, the ruler of this age. The truth is this, the Bible is not a book that contains the word of God but the word of God itself. An attempt to separate the Spirit of God from the understanding of the scriptures is the beginning of error.
So the Bible teaches them how to love everyone including bringing a sinner into the fold all for acceptance which the society preach also but not minding to preach a salvation message to the sinner. This is what is happening in our churches today; all we care now is to buil numbers and fill the pew, let them come they way they are and go the way the came; all in the name that the Bible teaches us love and acceptance. This on its own is a departure from the right religion. The truth is this, sinners are the target for the gospel of salvation, there is non that came to Christ even during His time that He rejected, He accepted all but did not allow them go the same way. The woman caught in Adulteryis a clear example, so why should we allow sinners come to our meeting and for the fear of losing members and fear of how they will feel, we refuse to rebuke them of their sin and call them into repentance? Every banquet organised by the Lord is intended to save a soul; yes at every dinner He attended, a sinner cannot go from there the same, at the house of Lazarus at Bethany, at the House of the tax collector; infact sinners at the sight of Him trembled but today, our Churches is the most comfortable place for sinners.
I think the reason behind this is the fact that the church/ believers now use the world standard to determine the applicability of the scriptures. So if the standard of this age teaches that a man and a woman are equal, then we come to church and teach that Eph. 5:22-25 is no longer of effect because to them, the Bible is subject to different interpretations with globalization; they look through window of the world to determine what the Bible is saying; forgetting that the word of God is ancient, it changes everything but nothing changes it. Since the standard of this world is once you are 18, you are an adult and free to make decisions; then Eph 6:1-2 turns into non effect, young person’s can now talk to their parents anyhow they want, disregard their good counsel and so on. It’s amazing how churches teaches constitution other than the word of God. Many has succeeded in argument that God in the Bible should not only be referred to as father but as mother also; so they have to an extent rewritten their own Bible; a pastor once said that since this Bible were written by men, them too can rewrite it to suit the present situations.
There are Churches today that you dare not call stealing a sin, there are preachers today that has seen nothing wrong with fornication, as long as the both parties consents, it is fine. There are Churches today that see nothing wrong in wedding same sex partners; I read of a particular Church in the West where the Bible is read along side with Qur’an. I heard also of a head of Church in a particular state who went to the Buddhist and tendered a public apology for Christian attempts to convert them, saying that the word of God ie. The Bible talks only about Christians and has nothing to do with them. These are perversion and departure from the truth. The word is first for the Jews and to the Gentiles and to the utmost part of the earth that believes in him.
That is why in some parts of the world today, Church owners and Church itself is becoming the richest and most lucrative venture on earth; there is no more preaching of sound message of salvation but now massaging the ego of the members with a ploy to keep them and keep milking them of their resources but in all things, the Lord shall judge. Amen.

Heavenly Father our most Holy God, thank you for waking us up again this blessed day, thank you because the Word of God is living and Shaper than two edged sword; thank you because you don’t speak in vain and there is no letter of your word that will return to you empty or void. Increase in us oh Lord the Spirit to obey your word above the winds of globalization and doctrines. Help us seek eternal truth above the truth of this age that last for a while; grant us true repentance that through the right knowledge of your word, we will save our self and those who hear in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen.
