The Life of Myst Chapter 2
The next morning

The cubs are still not strong enoughto be left alone so Phara and Artimis leave them with another elder female and her older cubs. While they decide to venture of of the den. They would be gone for only an hour. As they knew they cubs would be hungry again when they came back from there venture. They need to see how things where going with the pack, and that the lower ranks did there training was going well. Phara went to check on her small group of Healers and Artimis went to check on his medium group of wariors. They would meet back up once they where done. Artimis went down the small trail to the right to where the warrors did there training. And Phara went left on the medium trail to the healers.

The Healers Wolf Group

This comised of four pack members. Yuna the elder and wise, a Timber wolf whom had joined the pack long before Phara had. se was a friendly soul, She cared for the young ones and the teens of the pack. Next came Striker Cloud, a grey with a blind right eye, and smaller than a normal wolf size, but good with herbal remidies, he was at least getting their in years, and sweet, and kind. Third was a mixed breed senior, he had become like a second ther too both Artimis and Phara. though he was also get there in age, but a nobel second in comment to the healer wolves, he was a gentle but sleek looking, and named Luk, the last was just a year old and had llike to play tricks and use his magic to much, and very bold but brave Atric wolf name Jewels.

The Warior Wolf group

This comised of six members, two of each wolf, and true warrors that would stick by there pack when needed. two young cubs just about two years age, and twins no less, they where care free and clueless but loved their training, Acher and Tess where thier names and bushy coat with a mix of red and white coats. The ten year olds came next but black tip tails and grey coats and had been with the pack for what seemed years now, thier names Tilley and GM. Both where true wariors. The last elders two of guards of the cubs, and grandparents them selves, who helped with the training, Two Tails, and Phoenix.

Once Phara had arrived just northeast of the trail she spotted her group trying out there wolf packs skills on the much older group of banned or kicked out members of the other groups from all over the forest. they had gathered at the frozen spring. The morning air crisp with white powdered snow from the night storm. The small birds in hiding in the high tree tops. an other smaller animals gather seeds or nuts, and berries. Phara annoced herself to the group with a greating howl. The healers will heal those ithin the pack but stay out of fighting as they are only there to heal.
Artimis had not far to go to join up with the warrior wolf pack. He growled his greating they in turn bowed there heads to show respect. They then went to training. they each lined up into twos and roamed in each direction to ensure the satey of the pack. They may send scouts to other areas to ensure that the pack is safe from harm.

An hour later Phara and Artimis take there leave, take there trails back to the way they came to the main enteranice of the den. They glad that meetings with both the warrors and the healers went so well, and go inside the den to get the cubs and feast on the leftover deer from the nigher before. Phara and Artimis would have to go back out later that afternoon to feed there cubs and themselves.

The pack, Phara, cubs, and Artimis sleep for a few hours after there quick feast, as the cubs drink from their mother. And later that aftternoon Phara rises her head to lick each of the cubs, and then gets up to join in the hunt for the afternoon. She leaves them with thier father and two elders in case she is not back before the cubs wake and need to be feed again. Artismis licks his bride and stands and walks over to where Phara was laying on fresh twigs and straw soft enough that it would feel like goose feathers.

A bout an half hour later.....

Phara returned from her hunting with the small pack had gotten a huge moose and nice deer, there fur slowly drying from the blood and teeth bared pieces of meat from both animals, they dragged both into the den. Everyone enjoys the freast. Phara goes to eat while Artimis snuggles close to the cubs for them to stay warm, Myst climbs under her father's tail, her sister under her father's chest, her brothers side by side by thier fathers head. Artimis licks myst and then the others to sho them that he loved them. Phara comes back to where everyone is laying and starts to stretch her legs and body into the twigs and straw beside the two young cubs that have now lacked onto their mother for a drink and mean while Myst and her younger brother sleep with thier father till both slowly crouth towards their mother.

Meanwhile back to the Timber and Grey wolves.....

The timber wolves are out guarding the out limits of their own dens within the mountin and the greys are hunting for a sick moose that maybe around when a lone black wolf sneaks off towards the south end of the frozen river, the pack can't tell if its the lone wolf envading their terrory so they some of them decide to follow the smells of the forest. To see if they could find this lone wolf. Minutes later they never did find him. and the lone black disappeared into the snowy south north and away from the packs hunting him. The lone black wolf is safe for now but for how long only time will tell. He is young and a striking looking male, with a silver under tone coat, heavy and thick for the very old snowy nights in the forrest. His eyes the color of midnight blue, his head is adored with small vine scars. his body is somewhat larger than then the normal black wolves that roam the inlands of B.C., he was traveling towards the scouts camp when he almost came into danger from the other two packs. So he ducked under the tallest of snow covered bushes to avoid being cought or having to fight for his life. Nore did he want to up with either of them as a prisioner.

The grey wolf pack gaurd the tunnel to snow hares as these are the grey's specail hares they reserve for hunting the most, only a few have survived this long. The squires and birds hide in the trees above them and they know enough to stay away when the grey wolf hunt at this time of day. other small timber and greys of the pack have already taken down sickly deer, and a bull moose. The moose would have to dragged for miles so eah wolf would have to bring to the dens futher up the frozen river. Others go onto the frozen river where a crack has formed so they can get small fish living in the river and an be easily be cought with teeth. A small roudy bunch start a small fight with the grounds of the camp. it does not get out of hand mind you but its enough to anger the leaders and they quickly break it up.

Sometime later that night.....

Phara an Artimis return from gathering herbs, and berries they found and go into the den for the night, but Artimis hears the howl of the Lone black wolf and goes out of the den. Phara lays her cubs and tells the elders and lower ranks to keep guard outside while he is gone. CONTINUES IN NEXT CHAPTER.
