Connections
Did you know that humans are made up of strings, and that everytime we meet another a small hair like string connects us to them. When we part from one another the connection is cut and we both go on with our life with little grief. However, there are other forms that these connections will take. The connection between family that forms when you are born takes the form of a large chain that ties you to each other, and instead of breaking when we part depending on the circumstances will either become sharp and jagged or will fade till it can barely be seen. Both of these partings can cause a great deal of pain, but while these partings may be different grief is the feeling that is strongly woven with these chains. Unlike family though the connections between friends and lovers can be broken though the connection between lovers can be woven enough until it becomes a tight chain. The connection that forms between lovers takes the form of a thin wire that can only be broken by both sides holding a pair of wire cutters. These wires can hold you in a loose and loving embrace that will hold you through all of your troubles or they can hold you so tight that you start to bleed. Between friends however, these bonds are easily made and easily broken. This connection is made of rope woven from the small hair-like string that weave together from many meetings. The rope between friends can leave rope burns and scars, but with every burn there comes another rope that can pick you up even at your greatest woes and can become so woven together that they can become so unbreakable that only through death that they break. However friends like lovers can take to pathways of formation. Friends can become family by being tied into a chain, or friends can become lovers by becoming wires. Each connection goes through pain and sacrifice, but love and joy can also be born from these connections.
