The kids were carving out their pumpkins eagerly chatted about their planned visit to the old house in the woods, they were going there tonight the day had finally come.
As nighttime fell the friends lit the candles in their pumpkins, gathered torches and got on their bikes, riding through the woods in the dark was a bit tricky but they finally got to their destination.
The house looked scarier than normal as they had only been their in daylight before.
Tommy said I don't think this is a good idea boys let's go home, Dave said you can chickenshit but I'm going in as we've been talking about this for months, Alan said yeah let's do it. They threw down their bikes, lit their torches and started walking up the stairs to the entrance door, Tommy reluctantly followed as he didn't want to go back on his own, fearing he would get lost in the woods.
Dave pushed the door and it creaked open just far enough for them to squeeze their way in, they were no more than a few steps inside when the door suddenly slammed shut behind them, Tommy felt a trickle of urine run down his leg as he turned and tried to open the door, Dave and Alan joined him but the door wouldn't budge, Alan said this isn't good,let's find a way out as I'm not feeling brave anymore, Dave said come on boys we'll be fine but secretly feeling as scared as the others.
Suddenly there was a flash of light, the boys screamed as they saw the ghostly figures looming around, then realisation dawned, the house was on fire, panic set in as the crying boys looked for a way out, there was no way out.
If you venture to the house in the woods on Halloween amongst the ghosts will be three crying boys but Beware as there is no escape .
