Alas! They Are All The Same..
My musings (21.02.2022)
I have seen many elections, but none as polarizing as the ongoing state Legislative Assembly polls, that saw every so-called leader using anything but not development to make a point.. Every person who has voted for a candidate despite Pandemic woes, take a bow.. People are hoping against hope that they can find a leader who understands their problems.. Time is to act, politicos.. By digging graves and blaming our country's founding fathers, you are setting a negative example, remember this.. Not a single senior leader of a political party said anything encouraging, kind or positive.. People held rallies, road-shows in unprecedented testing times, and showcased what they claimed they did for their constituencies.. No plan, no Agenda, no vision to be found anywhere.. We see infighting in INC, AAP founder getting embroiled in a police case, the world's richest political party only shunning, criticizing, admonishing, anc the fringe groups simply holding on to dear hope, they don't know the pulse of their constituency, let alone of the state.. We need educated leaders, who deliver completed projects and don't just lay the foundation-stone for lofty aims.. Don't vote for announcements, declarations or choose premature rejoicing.. Let the politician deliver on ground, show signs of change and empowerment in common man's life.. Twitterati goes ballistic every time a state goes to "Poll Of Polls", and news channels dish out hate-speech recordings all day.. We are left wondering about prospects of the guy who had his eyes on foray in politics, and became "Pseud" God, whom people mistook for a good samaritan.. We must be more discerning about such opportunists.. Trust a candidate who's educated, untainted, and most importantly, one who has got something to give or contribute to the society.. But, how does it matter when U.P. developed only in the last 5 years, and Punjab sustained battle against drugs only in the last few months.. A leader of today might as well switch to a profession involving criticizing, nit-picking, provoking or simply undermining the contributions of our past leaders (most of them members of their own party!).. People turned turncoats at an appalling rate, and we expect these very people to serve and stay loyal to our junta.. I don't buy this.. Sigh..! #MyMusings
