Reminiscence
Dear diary,

I just watched the movie, "A whisker away" where a lady turned into a cat because the guy he liked would ignore her human form and lover her when she is a cat. She would use a magical cat mask every evening to turn into a cat and meet him.

I never owned a cat. Neither did my parents like cats, dogs, mice nor was I a fan of imprisoning little ones. I want them to be free. I often meet tiny lil kittens a couple hours/ days after they are born. They grow with me, eat, play and at some point, in a few months they move out. They don't always give me a proper goodbye. It breaks my heart everytime. But I understand I have no right to restrain them. I should let them explore the world, fall in love, live a life of their own.

A orange-white cat was the only exception. I haven't seen her while she was a kid. She just appeared out of nowhere oneday and started living in the neighborhood. She'd often come to me and ask me to pat-pat her. She never got mad or frowned at me. She was the best of the bests. And she was really pretty. She would eat anything if I fed her and almost nothing but normal fish and meat if it was anyone else. She never moved out. She grew old and died of sickness...makes me wonder, what if she was a lady who turned herself into a cat to stay with me...?

I don't love any other cat as much as I loved her and probably never will. Thinking about her still brings tears in my eyes.

I'll go. Until next time, bubbye.
