The Mummy (Chapter 4)
After comforting herself from that video, Shraddha called Neha on her cellphone and asked her whether she had seen the video, Neha replied affirmatively.
The next day in college everyone had a really hard day. Shraddha decided to enquire Neha about Egypt's tour. That evening, Shraddha asked Neha about the matter that was with a feather. Why that mummy did ask that feather? And where did he have that pen? ‘Egypt’ Neha replied ‘everyone bought several things’. Shraddha further asked what did you buy ‘Book and several things like a bracelet, necklace and many more’. Shraddha wanted to inspect all those things they both went to Neha’s home. Neha handover everything she bought from Egypt to Shraddha. Bracelet, necklace were all normal but when Shraddha grabbed the book. The book glowed its pages slowly turned pages and the cover turned to gold. She opened the book. The epilogue of the book was written in some ancient Egyptian language. Neha yelled ‘what the hell where’s my writings?’ Shraddha ignoring her turned several pages, and after 4-5 pages the English language came up. The book had this thing written in it.
‘Paya-a-fierce’ warrior of Northern Africa had a dream to conquer Egypt. He had defeated many kingdoms had a huge army, but every time he tried to take over Egypt he failed. More than 5 times, he had failed his conquest. After the 5th loss, he was wounded. His wife suggested him to give up but he refused, he decided to worship the dark gods 50 years passed, when the Vi, Ai, and Da showed up the dark gods. Vi gave Paya an eternal life as a reward, Ai gave him the control & mastery over any weapon in the world. While Da handed hi, has own power of controlling sand. Watching these things the superior ones got angry and cursed Paya with 5 curses. Paya would live eternally but in a coffin after his first-ever victory, the coffin will have no keys and locks but 5 relies on guarding it, the relies will be in Egypt itself and will transform their appearance with time accordingly. And he can only be freed if all the 5 relies on are taken out from Egypt not forcefully but when someone rally wanted them or like them. If somehow Paya got free you will have your powers but you can kill only one person one night at a certain time only if Paya killed anyone at different Paya will get back to your coffin immediately and if Paya didn’t kill anyone Paya will be safe. As you will be freed somehow there will be an entirely, by proper use of which you can be suppressed. And no longer will have 2 chances given to its wielder. And lastly, Paya will fear water.
The relies which can free Paya are a medallion, a feather, this book…
‘This book and what Shraddha’ Neha asked. Shraddha replied ‘blank page’. Neha smiled and asked ‘who the heck must have bought black pages?’ Shraddha answered ‘stupid the pages are blank’. A clear but very low polite voice interrupted them ‘Enough secrets are revealed hand me over the book’. The air around them took the shape of the hand and grabbed the book and soon in no time mummy appeared right in front of them. Shraddha checked time it was 9:59 she waved at Neha signing her to look at the watch. Neha screamed while looking at mummy.
The mummy blinked he’s eyeing several times and looked at Neha screaming mummy smiled a little. After Neha stopped screaming. Mummy calmly said, ‘My turn’ and screamed widely. Neha’s skin started to burn soon in no time Neha melted like ‘ice-cream on the fryer’ mummy while showing pity said ‘So sad, she was a nice girl by the way’ saying this mummy grabbed a glass, filled it with molten Neha. This time Shraddha screamed scarily. Mummy shouted ‘Shut up, you know, I have no reason to kill you and most importantly, I can’t kill you now’. And disappeared leaving sand behind.
