"Shh, you are safe. I won't let you go."He said, holding her hands and rubbing her palms.
"Promise, you will be there whenever I need you." She wanted an assurance.
"Yup, you will always find me beside you in each and every situation." He said and pressed her hands gently to make her believe that he will prove what he is saying.
"I am afraid of the dark. Would you let me turn on the lights?" She told him about her fear.
"Why do you need to turn on the lights when I'm around or do you feel insecure even when I'm around you?" He took her in his embrace and tried to know what she was thinking.
"No, I feel the safest when I'm close to you but I feel like this darkness will harm me." After having the taste of a warm embrace she actually started speaking her heart.
"No, darkness is just because light is off. It can't harm you. When you close your eyes, everything becomes dark so what's the difference? It can do nothing to you." He wanted her to get rid of her fear.
"But what about the inner darkness?" She also wanted to win her fears with his help and support.
"I'm with you whether it be the inner or outer darkness. I will pull you out of this darkness." He tried to comfort her.
" Can I rely on you?" She was being insecure and wanted assurance and love.
" My love, My life, I will be there whenever you need me. I may not be in your best with you but believe me I will be with you in your worst." He tightened his embrace.
She felt secure. She felt safe. Now she knows that there is someone who will never leave her alone. Her heart was satisfied, it didn't take long for her to fall asleep. Meanwhile, he was thinking that she is his precious treasure. She is her light, if he loses her he'll lose all his senses. She is the sun for him. He won't be able to shine without her. He promised to himself that he will protect her till the last breath.
