To avoid stepping on those poisonous snakes Juliane would test the area in front of her by throwing her only shoe ahead then moving to pick it up .
Too much difficulty she had to face but girl kept on moving despite scorching heat and hunger.
It was rainy season in Amazon means that there was no fruits to pick up..
Since she had no knife thus she couldn't cut palm hearts from Palm tree stems.. Nights were too chilling..

Finally after a few days of roaming in rain forest, she arrived at the bank of large river..But there were signs of no one.. This made her so disheartening but she knew she can't give up. She swam in the river .. As it was Amazon so there were Giant alligators in the river but she knew that stingrays stayed away from deeper water and she hoped that she wouldn't meet piranhas and alligators on her way..
So she swam in the river at day and went back to the shore at night to rest...But sleeping at night wasn't easy and insects kept on biting her and making injuries more painful..
On the 10th day of her exhausting journey she saw something hallucinatory "A BIG BOAT" .. Juliane couldn't believe ..
she even touched her eyes to make sure that it wasn't any Dream..There was no one near boat but girl saw a beaten path led up the river bank..She followed that path and reached a hut with a palm leaf roof..
