That Night In The City
Mumbai, 2017.

News channels flashed one news every minute - 'Young Children Missing. Where Are They?'. Phones rang raucously in every police station with every SHO and SI blurting order to juniors and constables about finding any single detail about this huge incident.

This year children aged 5 to 10 went missing from their home mysteriously. Parents bombarded police stations with their cries, asking policemen to quickly find their children. Policemen were helpless as they were unable to find any single clue about the missing children. Now only God can save our children, the parents mourned.

Out of stamina, Mumbai Police called a Delhi Police ACP known for her tough sense of justice & brutal dealing with criminals. Every single criminal in Delhi was in jail because of her and Delhi was now crime-free. Anjana Chaturvedi was her name.

Anjana roped in her team for help during the investigation. They checked CCTV footages to find anything about the criminal. They found that the criminal had a single method of abducting kids - wearing the joker disguise, entertaining them for some time, giving them sleeping pills in the form of sweet candies and taking them in his van.

On a tip off by her informant in Mumbai, Anjana and the Mumbai Police team raced to an old warehouse somewhere near Bandra Gymkhana at night. She asked police personnel not to make any noise as there were children inside and entered the warehouse all by herself, her gun ready to shoot the criminal in an instant.

"Wherever you are, surrender yourself. Your time has ended," roared Anjana. She heard children sobbing near the exit gate, tied with steel chains.
"I'm going to kill them for they disturb the environment of the city!" thundered the criminal. Anjana implored the criminal to release the kids. But he didn't move a bit.

Anjana took out her gun and shot the criminal twice, pinning him down instantly and saved the children. That night in the city was a tough one for Anjana. But she was happy.
