This is story of twentyth centuary,1909,rural village,that was the village where illirated person found most , that time,and it was undeveloped village.But condition of that area was best for industry,so english government started work on the development of that city.Many resource had being added to that villiage such as street light, road,plantation,etc.
Now the main character was a Boy.He was a teenager.one day he walking alone in that street just after sunset .And that day was streetlight function started. When he was returning home suddenly light glows due to this shadow formed of that boy,he paniced by his own shadow that moment. And a illness catched him named shadow discomfort. This illness catched him due to sudden reflection of shadow fall in his eyes and brain set afraid action of shadow.He ran from there and reached her house.Seeing afraid the boy's father asked him what happen son, he replied nothing.
Next morning when he saw again a shadow he cried loudly,his father asked continuous what happen son,he told her father ghost lies down.His father told him its was his shadow nothing else but boy not belived his father and rapidly said no it was ghost father.Now boy lived inside the house only &afraid to come out.His father called illirated regional local doctor(not degnified).Doctor told his father that he(boy) catched by any spirit which hold him. But father not belived that doctor.He consulted with other villiager but all refused to go near of his son.After few day all villiager stop talking,meeting,giving,etc with boy father.Now nothing is to eat both boy and father become so weak.Viliager head held a meeting dicussing about the boy who is catch by spirit.They taked that the boy didn't come out so all planned to burn alive that boy. Because they had to make their children safe.Head said if boy not come out how he harm their child. One stupid said to head, "May be in future it will happen. Head asked about the father! some stupid villiager ansered that his father was closed to that horriable spirit that why he(spirit) not harmed him and it may be spirit thinked that to change…body in future.with all suggestion the head take a favor to villager & made decision to burn them alive.
Therefore they all went there at the house of that sicked boy at night .Now house burning when boy saw the flame he cried help! but no one care that.Due to hunger&weakness his father lost his energy to get up&run out but he send his son by saying him that "now you go son i am going to burn that ghost go go just go!" .And boy ran out not because of its father ordered but one more reason the shadow formed down due to flame brightness.When he came out all villages panicked but he was normal now. And cried for help.All villiager were surperised and started throwing buckets of water on house.
At end his father dead her body was full burned.Boy crying and villiager accepted that they were guilty.
