No matter how much you try to run
you will end up at GOD'S feet.
There was time when God told Jonah in the Bible to go to Nineveh
to warn them about their sins
but Jonah did not like the people of Nineveh
so he thought of running away from the presence of GOD by
leaving to another place called Tarshish and this was impossible co'z
our GOD is omnipresent.
He was on a ship
when GOD hurled a
great wind upon the sea.
and the people on the ship were scared and asked Jonah
of what he has done
then Jonah accepted his mistake and told people to throw him into the sea
so that the sea will be calm
as the wind was getting worse
the people on ship agreed and throwed him into the sea
then a great fish swallowed him
and he was in the belly of fish for three days and three nights praying earnestly to forgive him
and then God spoke to the great fish and it vomited Jonah on the dry land
then on GOD's command Jonah went to Nineveh and warned them about their sins
and the wonderful part is
after Listening to Jonah's words
the entire city of Nineveh
turned away from their sins
They fasted for forty days praying for forgiveness...
and God has forgiven them.
From the life of Jonah
we should learn that
GOD has chosen you
and created you with a plan and a purpose
and no matter what he will surely fulfill his purpose in your life .
so stop running away from GOD
instead ask him about his purpose
Listen to him and obey him..
so that he will use u for his mighty works.
and You will be a blessing to many others
Just like Jonah.
