A boy is born into the family of Mr. Moore Bishop and Mrs Nora Bishop;name is Cliff Bishop.He,been a black living in Thamesland from his craddle,faces all sort of racial prejudice from his white fellows.He grows in a white dominated society, attends a white dominated school where he gets to know about himself and importance in the white society.
He,though brilliant,was insulted and humiliated.Whenever nominations for competitions came,other students were chosen and he and another black boy were left out.This was persistent during his 10th grade,he was able to write a short article titled the change.He wanted a change in the societal beliefs,he disliked the way the blocks were treated even in a civilized society where everyone is given to speak.He shows his fellow black mate.Jim{the black mate}criticizes and explains to him that he should just be educated able to make ends meet and not pursuing popularity or total equality as their fore fathers were only brought there as slaves and now the equality is enough for a better future of the blacks.
