BODY OF CHRIST!
*BODY OF CHRIST!*
*“Now you are the body of Christ and members individually” (I Corinthians 12:27).*
*There are several noble relationships between you and God in the religion of Christianity. He is the creator and you are the creation. He is Father and you are His children. He is the shepherd and you are the sheep. Further, He is the head and you the body.*
*The brain is in the head and the body obeys its commands. It is the head in which the wisdom and knowledge are found. The Scripture says, “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9). Christ is your head.*
*In the Old Testament, when the precious oil was poured on the head of Aaron, it ran down on his beard and down on the collar of his robe. Where else in the New Testament, when unlimited anointment was poured on the head which is Christ, it did not stop with that. It ran down the body which is the church. It drenched all the 120 persons praying in the upper room.*
*Christ who is the head has brought the world and the churches under your control. He has accorded you governance and power. The Scripture says, “And He put all things under His feet and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all” (Ephesians 1:22, 23).*
*Christ the head cannot be valued ordinarily. He has been crowned with glory and honour; filled with grace and truth. When it is so, the body also could not be an ordinary one. You are special because no one could separate the fellowship prevailing between the head and the body.*
*The head of Christ is in heaven and His feet on the earth. The hem of His robe is filling and covering the church. Your hands are nothing but the hands of Christ. When you pray with burden, placing your hands on the heads of the sick, your hands receive the power from the hands of Christ and heal the sick. Your legs are nothing but the legs of Christ. When you walk with compassion and burden on souls, the feet of Christ follow you.*
*Though Jesus Christ has crossed over to the right of the Lord, His body remains in the earth. You have to fulfil the ministry of Christ until His Second Coming. You have to win souls. You have to proclaim the Salvation in the Name of Jesus who are suffering in their problems. Dear children of God, since you remain as His body, you may thank God with faith.*
