Hush.
"Ahana! Where are you!?"

I hid in the bathroom. Khan, my husband, is just very upset right now, I kind of dumped something on his suit. I turned fourteen years. Immortal...and it sucks. My mother told me to be a good girl, and stay in this abandoned castle, but that was...a while ago. It got cold, and I didn't want to stay.

My husband is a natural food source though, at least when he's nice he lets me feed. I was about five when my parents left me, I'd say my mother is probably either dead or just didn't care where I went afterward. I got past the Father's barrier and I fled. This was is for me though, as time went on, I'm short. 5'2.

I have very interesting hair, super white, and my eyes are pink. I am the strangest creature, or so I was told when I was little. My thirst for blood was so great, that my parents locked me away. When I got free, I met this boy, and we got along so nice, he's my best friend, and husband, as of a month ago.

He caught me, I was sitting on the bathtub side. His eyes were red...I pressed my finger to my lips. "Khan...what happened to your eyes?" I hugged tightly onto his t-shirt that I had on. His silence scared me. "Ahana, what are you wearing?"

This wasn't my husband speaking. They couldn't have found me. I stared into his eyes, then I smacked his cheek a little. "Khan! Snap out of it!"

"You sure have grown the last I've seen you. Your mother has been worried sick."

I knocked him out cold. A wig can't even hide my hair. I grabbed onto Khan before he could fall. "I am so sorry. We must go now."

I felt bad, but I quickly turned him into a pin, then started walking to the door, but it was still daylight. I sighed. By the time the sun goes dips down, they should be here. Through the tunnels! I hurried. The time went so fast. How did they get ahold of him?? My poor love?

My feet hit the ground, I was quickly running through the forest. How long have I been running from them? It seems like it's been too long. I've tried many things in this world, spent so many days living in this life, and I love it. Just as much as I love Khan. Childish I am, but I won't ever go with them again, let them trick me onto going back.

I tapped the pin and he poofed. I hugged him so right, "Khan! Khan!"

"Woah... what? Where are we?"

"In a forest..."

Ahana bit her lip a little. "Why are we in the forest Ahana?"

"No-no reason."

"Don't lie."

"I'm not."

I heard a snap and I turned fast. "Ohhh..." I whined a little. I wrapped my arms tighter around him. "Ahana!"

He tried ripping me off him because I was holding on too tight. Lay a showed up, her hair as curly and black as ever, and Onkar off to the side. "Ahana! It's time you come back home!"

"No!" I whined more. "Honey, you can't be in this world..."

"I don't want to go back!" Khan then wrapped his arms around me, and that angered Onkar. "Mortal, you dare stand in my way!?"

"Ahana is my wife."

"You sick bastard!"

Kaya went first then Onkar, and I swung him around. "I'm sorry Khan!" He almost looked lifeless as I tossed him around.

"N-no p-problem!"

"Ahana! Stop waving him around!"

Kaya tried capturing him, but I swung him until I turned him back into my pin. "What???" Kaya stood so confused now. They stared at my sweater. "He's not real..."

I nodded, "yes he is!"

"No baby girl, how long have you been with this friend?"

I flipped them off, "I can have as many husbands as I want!"

"Husband...no I don't think so. You have been using spells... whose blood have you been drinking?"

"I'm not a monster!" I tossed a stick at them. I say stick when it's a branch. "You locked me away! You're the monsters!"

I didn't look at them in the eyes, otherwise, they'd read my thoughts. "Come back, darling-"

"No! I like it out here!" I blew my breath into the air, making the wind pick up, and boil like acid. "I won't go back!"

"Fine! Then we give you no other choice but to force you back!"

"No!" My foot tapped the ground, making a perfect hole. Down I went and through the ground, I buried right on through. Then to my feeding barn. I have been living in this abandoned barn. I have been feeding on cows around the area. My eyes stared into this bottle. Before I could get dressed into something, I heard my tunnels being invaded. I turned and stared at them, I had a collection of bottles surrounding me. "What...have you done?"

They don't understand my value. "How many..."

"Like I said! I didn't hurt anyone!" Kaya tipped the bottle to her nose, it wasn't human blood. "Cow? You've been living off of this? No wonder your abilities seemed off."

"Shut up!"

"I'm not making fun of you Ahana..."

"Yes, you are! You're just like the rest of them!" They put me in this schooling, but it seemed like I was in there for eternity. I was made fun of a lot. "This is not good for you Ahana."

In the next bottle, though I wish she didn't pick up. Those red eyes were glued to me. "Whose is this?"

"My husband's," my eyes rolled at them. "There is no possible way!" Onkar argued. "Yes, there is...summoning blood cells human...I can drink as much as I want, and drink as much as a cow I want!"

"You spent too long with these humans."

"No, I haven't! I'm not even alone anymore! Khan has his personality! He was reborn into this world as a feastling for me! No thanks to you two! Now leave my den!"

"Your so thin my child, when was the last time you ate?"

"What's it to you!? It's not like you care about me! Your hearts don't even beat!"

"Ahana, come back to the castle, or we will send people to bring you back for us."

"Course, not surprising that you'd say that, but if you consider this as giving up-"

"Don't waste your breath Ahana, me and your father know you have no more magic to display."

"I'm not going back!" I tapped the floor twice, they fell back into the tunnel. "Really!? This is how you want to play!?" Onkar grumbled from below.

"I don't play! I just want to get dressed, and it's perverted for you two, to be in the same room with me while I'm practically naked!" I put my cute little outfit on, pajamas, then I went over to my bed and laid down. It took them a while to notice I was done. "What are you-"

"Sun will be up soon."

"Ahana, you must come home, this shack won't keep you safe from the sunlight."

"No thanks, a little sun won't hurt." My bottles of blood started boiling. "Ahana! Get up right now!"

"You're aren't my boss!"

"You spoiled girl!"

"Spoiled!? What right do you have to say that!?"

Onkar stayed silent, as the two of us argued. "I hate you! I'm never going back to that miserable castle!"

Kaya growled and then started casting a spell on Ahana, but then Ahana started fighting back with her spells. "Kaya! Ahana! Enough!"

Instantly they withdrew their magic. "I'm not going back!" I stuck my tongue out, Onkar made me grab ahold of my tongue though, and hold it. "You have managed to be on your own around humankind, for quite a bit. Nonetheless, you are to come home."

"I-I don't want to..." I kept myself from crying. I didn't want to sit at a table alone again or be in that dark place. "This is just for your own good Ahana."

Kaya didn't agree with Onkar, she never did, but she let him send me away just to keep their place as the highest vampires. He tossed a coin up, "heads or tails?"

I hated this game, I shook my head no. "I ain't playing no more games!"

"You like games."

"No, I don't," my arms wrapped around myself. "Your not a monster Ahana..."

I looked around, there has been this person speaking in my ear. "Go away!"

"Ahana? Who are you talking to?"

"You can't hear her?"

"Shame on you Ahana. You shouldn't be so selfish. Maybe we should go back, maybe we should just give up Ahana."

"No...no." I felt my eyes changing somehow. "Ahana?"

"No. There is no Ahana here..." I tapped my head. "My name is KonKon."

"KonKon?"

"Uh-huh...and I'm thirsty, very thirsty."

"Right, how about we go home KonKon?"

"The fun hasn't started Daddy. Are you going to just let the hunt go?"

"The hunt?"

"Haven't you seen it? Look outside. Two little girls, walking in the field, one falls and twists their neck. The other girl weeps, then she falls into a hole, and waits in despair."

They stared at KonKon as she started singing this little horror song, her pink eyes brimming with death. Ahana's parents heard it, a scream. "Oh no, there we go, one down, another to go."

"KonKon, let's go home."

"Go home? Where is home?"

"The castle."

"Hmm...I like castles," I continued to hear the screaming, "but I love pain a lot more. Humans deserve death, maybe one of those girls wants to be my friend."

KonKon stepped off her bed and those pajamas dissolved fast. A black corset took its place, revealing cruel scars on her chest and back. The stockings went up to her knees and the black heels clicked as she walked. Very hesitantly. Slowly her hand met with Kaya's. "Would you help me?"

"Help...you how?"

Kaya stared at some of the cuts, "I'll go with you, but first I want these two girls to be my friends. I'd hate for their blood to...go to waste."

"Ahan-KonKon, how long have you been taking over Ahana's mind?"

"Ahana doesn't exist! What have I told you!?"

The girl sounded different, spoiled. "Now, follow me."

"I-"

"I said follow!" I walked right on out, it wasn't daytime yet. Surprising. There was crying from two different areas. "Chose Daddy, chose who I'm going to spend the rest of my life with."

"No, this is wrong."

"The sun will come up soon, tiktok, tiktok."

"KonKon, please just think about their parents."

"Ahana didn't have parents, what's the difference between then, and now? They are just simple humans, pathetic space wasted, and you would defy me this right?"

"Right? None of this is right!"

"Aww, are you getting angry Mommy? Did I hurt your feelings? I hope not, Ahana would be very disappointed in me if I did. She still is hurting from these creatures, and she still wants her oarents, but that's just not going to happen, is it? You're truly going to let this side of her decay right? Let Ahana die, and replace her with me. That way, we can all be happy."
