Why I write? #thedayIstarted
I had been writing all my life.
I'm turning 29 this year :)
This is all where it begins.
The moment that define ME.

When I was a little kid, my mother
has a very abusive nature ( up until now.)
I remembered, I was around 5 years old and I was often bullied for stuttering and
nervous disorder. I didn't know how to express myself except reading and writing into a notebook. By the age of 10, I bought myself a diary with a little tiny lock.

In my diary entries, I had always written about my mother's problem of being too perfectionist (which now I identified as one of the red flag of Narcissistic Personality Disorder) and plus she was physically abusive. I was forced to score an "A" for every subject and being top 3 in my class. To overcome my stuttering and nervous disorder, I wrote myself encouraging words and practice it in front of the mirror. My late father was very supportive, he told me to "Go out there and shine" by entering poem recital competition and public speaking competing.

Of course, I did all of it because I wanted to challenge myself and eventually have a sense of confidence in myself. For a first timer, I actually got the second place and for poem recital, I won a showcase slot for my talent.

It felt good to write your thoughts, hopes, dreams and desires as young as possible. As you grow older and looked back at yoir writings, you will feel how much you grow and mature. The choices of words, vocabs and how vividly you represent your feelings/situations/memoir will amazed how much you are inspired to keep on writing and give the World a pieace of your soul.

Your thoughts because your words.
Your words become a legacy.
A legacy shall always be cherished
As an inspiration.

Keep on writing! ❤️
