Burying your memories with each inhale of the happiness that numbs the fucking world. You can’t mend your heart whole again no matter how hard you try. I’m sorry I failed you. You didn’ deserve any heart ache or sadness. You deserved to play at the park with your brother and swing as high as you can on a swing. You should of been playing with dolls instead of playing mom. You deserved sitting in the yard patting down mud you made making mud pies. I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you and chose the fast life instead. I’m sorry I couldn’t save you.
