Criminal Love (Part Two)
(⚠️ Swearing warning! But I tried to remove words that are inappropriate for people. ⚠️)
If you don’t remember everything from Part One, this is what happened:
Min Yue Yeon is a police officer who chased the thief Chai Soo Yoon his entire adult life. When he almost arrests her, the chief, Dae Jung, tells him he will fire him if he doesn’t succeed in arresting Soo Yoon. One night, Yue Yeon shoots Soo Yoon’s leg, but he thinks it isn’t fair to lock her into jail now and just let her suffer. He decides to take care of her injury and start chasing her again when she recovers. Soo Yoon isn’t happy with that, but she accept his help. But, in the hours they spend together, he finds out she is actually kinda nice and he accidentally falls in love with her. When Soo Yoon steals something again, he proposes to take her to a place where nobody will find her instead of arresting her, but she refuses. She hates him and Yue Yeon doesn’t know what to do…

Chai Soo Yoon was crying.
She didn’t cry often. She didn’t cry her entire adult life. But now she was really crying.
The letter in her trembling hands said: “To our Yoony”
Soo Yoon knew who wrote this. No doubt about that. No one else had ever called her Yoony. But… how? How did they know…?
‘Stop crying!’ she said to herself. ‘You’re a strong adult now.’
She had to read the letter. She had to.
She sighed, opened the letter and started to read it.
“Dear Yoony,
We are disappointed. Why didn’t you contact us for years? You should have done that! We even didn’t know your address! Of course we heard about you. But Yoony, why? You could have been a gorgeous woman! Why did you choose this destiny? You have so much more in you!
But enough of that now. You need to know this: a man got to know where your hideout is and he told that to us. We’re going to visit you the day after we wrote this, so the day you read this. We need to talk.
We love you, Yoony.
Love from Chai Sung Ho and Yang Ae Cha, your parents”
Someone knew the place of her hideout! Maybe he watched her going to it… and maybe he used Google… or both… but who could it be?
‘Stupid girl!’ she said. ‘There’s only one person who would do this.’
‘Yoony!’
The voice of her mother filled the house and Yang Ae Cha hugged her daughter closely. ‘We missed you, sweety!’
Soo Yoon pushed her mother away. ‘First, stop calling me Yoony. Second, I’m a thief now. I don’t need you. Go away, you bitch.’
Ae Cha gasped. ‘Yoony! Who taught you this language?’
‘Kim Eun Woo, of course,’ a men’s voice said.
Soo Yoon’s father walked in. ‘It was Eun Woo.’
Soo Yoon started crying again. ‘Don’t talk about him.’
‘Why?’ Ae Cha asked. ‘He was your friend. But maybe you’re right. We shouldn’t talk about that asshole. He was the one who taught you about being a criminal, Yoony.’
‘I’M. NOT. YOONY!’ Her voice suddenly was extremely loud. ‘Just call me Chai Soo Yoon! We aren’t a family anymore! You aren’t my parents!’
Her father, Sung Ho, gasped. ‘Don’t talk like this. And your mother isn’t right. We should talk about Eun Woo. I know you’ll get sad, but you deserve that.’
Eun Woo had been Soo Yoon’s friend when they were teenagers. He was a thief, but he died when he was 19 years old.
‘No,’ Soo Yoon said. ‘Before I kick you out of my house, tell me one thing. Who told you my address?’
Ae Cha said: ‘He sent a letter to us. He found our address on the internet… I don’t know how he found yours. I don’t know his name, only his initials.’
Soo Yoon pulled her mother towards her, so they were face to face. Even though Soo Yoon was way taller than Ae Cha, she looked in her mother’s eyes and said: ‘You tell me his initials right now. Don’t tell it to anyone after that. Tell me. NOW.’
Ae Cha was impressed. Her daughter was really powerful. With trembling voice, she told her the initials: ‘M. Y. Y.’
Soo Yoon groaned quietly. ‘I was right.’
She let go of her mother, so Ae Cha stumbled backwards.
Yue Yeon. He knew her hideout. She had to move right now. But where? He would find her again. What should she do?
‘Er… Yoony, dear? Are you okay?’
She realized she was staring at the wall and not reacting on anything. But now she did. ‘Don’t call me Yoony. And now, get out. Before I kick you out.’
‘Sweetheart, you can’t do that!’ Sung Ho said shocked. ‘We won’t leave you again. Like you left us.’
Soo Yoon grinned. It wasn’t a happy grin. Goosebumps appeared on her parents’ skin. ‘Oh yes, you will.’
A WOOSH sound… a flash of black gleaming shoes… the sound of cracking wood… a bunch of splinters from the door… and Chai Sung Ho lay on the ground in front of Soo Yoon’s house, his eyes were closed. A few of his ribs seemed to be broken.
Soo Yoon walked through the gap that was in the door now and said: ‘This is what happens when you try to resist Chai Soo Yoon. Now get out, old woman, before I kick you too.’
Ae Cha run away, taking her husband with her.
Yue Yeon smiled. Maybe Soo Yoon’s parents could convince her to stop being a criminal. Then he had a chance to convince the judges to not put her into jail. Then they could just live together… if she would accept him.
It wasn’t very difficult to find out her address. He had seen her flying away and found her hideout with Google Maps. It was actually an excellent hideout. But he was sure she would move now.
A quiet growl did him startle.
He looked around. Nobody was in his office. ‘Don’t worry,’ he thought and he sat down again.
‘Thanks for nothing, filthy cop!’
He gasped and turned around. Soo Yoon stood in his office, behind him. ‘H-how did you come in?’
‘Ever heard about windows, boy? But that isn’t important. Why did you tell my parents the location of my hideout?’
He said hesitantly: ‘Er… just using my brain?’
‘OK,’ Soo Yoon said. ‘But this time, you’ll pay.’
Yue Yeon suddenly knew what she was going to do. He lifted his hands to gesture STOP. ‘Soo Yoon… don’t do this… remember that time you nearly choked me and didn’t listen? Don’t make that mistake again… I just wanted to help you… don’t…’
Her foot moved up quickly and hit him on that special place. He screamed.
Soo Yoon knew, somewhere in her mind, she made the mistake before to knock Yue Yeon down without listening to him, but she was blinded by the anger. She didn’t care anymore.
The next kick...
