Emily is the best!

The picture in the frame held a lot of memories. Some good, some sad. Emily's tired eyes roamed over it one last time before she tossed it in the fire. It was indeed time to start afresh, and move on, thereby being invincible enough to sail throughout with a sense of solemnity, amidst all odds in the past. Before, she tossed it in fire, she was indeed perplexed about the fact of doing so, because there were a blend of emotions, which crossed her upsetting and baffled mind, but it indeed was tantalizing to such an enormous extent, that living a life would have been incredibly cumbersome. Emily relentlessly tried being at her best, however it only backfired her to the fullest, thereby drawing a feeling of worthlessness, and in turn demeaning her to the core. It's indeed taxing to get along in a manner, wherin your self respect is widely sabotaged, nevertheless, she still tried sitting through this ordeal, which she didn't even deserve to come across. Apart from that, there has been both joyous and proud moments as well, which she never denied, but the ugly ones would undoubtedly supercede the blissful ones. She was great at her work, and a very quick learner indeed, she started her journey from a junior copywriter, and in turn rose to be the creative head of one the most promising campaign's visioned by the organisation. She was an ardent learner of distinct techniques and ideas, and was always at the forefront in terms of execution, thereby making her organization immensely proud of her, in terms of both market character and revenue generation. She was doing incredibly great, and was highly collaborative with her relevant stakeholders, until something drastically unexpected occured, and in turn, changed the entire sequel of aspects. She was indeed perceived negatively, and got berated to a manner, wherein her own span of folks, stopped conversing with her, and insulted her in such an objectionable manner, which in turn forced her to write a resignation letter, and part ways with them permanently. Gerald was one the board members, who was asked to review this case on a priority basis, and having said that, he initially wanted to have a meeting with Emily, thereby helping him get to the bottom of it.
Amidst all of these, he called up Emily, and tried fixing up a meet with her, and in turn she agreed to meet up, and at the same time, she was also optimistic about being heard by the management. Finally they met on a monday morning, and Gerald started probing the matter further, by asking varied questions to her. Emily answered every question with a sense of rationale, however it was still not enough to convince him, owing to which he kept on pestering Emily, and finally she started feeling extremely unpleasant, and got nervous indeed.
Gerald stated " You went against the interests of our clients and business advisors, by eradicating the fire campaign on a potrait, which we visioned for our company, whose main objective was to showcase a pollution free city, and he also emphasized stating, at times we may want to execute certain odds, to ensure that the evens do meet. Emily in turn, clearly stated, she would never proceed with a concept, which had fire being caught on a potrait during a camera shoot, due to one's envious and obnoxious senses, and the reasons being she had a phobia towards fire and secondarily, it might showcase an incorrect message to the society. She continued saying " I have learnt a lot of things in my stint with his company, and have done really well in leading this team,in the best interest of our clients and stakeholders, and would never want to experiment something completely new, which may be indeed bizarre, and might show something as destructive as fire, though it may be fictional advertising shoot", thereby I choose to move out from an organisation which really didn't weigh my endeavours.
Gerald replied stating " I undoubtedly agree, that you were exceptionally skilled at your creativity, and no one had ever questioned your business acumen in leading this phenomenonal team as a great head, however let me tell you one thing " At times, you may want to unlearn certain concepts and notions, which would only be for the best. Your denial to this campaign had indeed led us to an exhobirant loss, since they were one of our clients who generated this idea, thereby investing in this campaign, and in turn might apparently affect our reputation as well, but nevertheless, you know what, " I still want to retain you in this organisation, because someone I get a strong feeling, that would tend to unlearn things going forward, so please think twice, before making any decision. You have been doing great, and having said that, if you could just incorporate the process of unlearning, you would not only help yourself, instead you would help the society in general, because innovation and a lateral thought process is a key to overall success amidst this cut throat competition.
Emily showed promising expressions of gaining an agreement with him, however she was still not sure to resume or not.
She looked bewildered, as if she was entangled with a web of thoughts.
Gerald finally came to her rescue,of being baffled, by just stating one thing " You may have already unlearned certain parts, out of envious and obnoxious senses "in turn, Emily said Sorry, I didn't understand!
Gerald didn't utter a single sentence pertaining to this topic, apart from still insisting her not to leave! He actually wanted her to resume, wherin she herself accepts that she had started unlearning from today, by tossing the potrait in fire.
There was an office assistant who witnessed this entire scene, of her burning the potrait in her cabin, who suddenly entered Gerald's cabin and confirmed that all burnt particles were cleaned up.
Emily took her resignation back, and promised to resume from the following week, and very subtly said " I tossed our company potrait in fire, which meant my world, but now I do feel , that this company is my universe, despite the fact of the potrait being burnt!

Gerald stated" You're the best ".

" When you don't want to unlearn, you may come across circumstances, which might insist you to do so, not because it's from a third party, instead it's you who would be guiding force behind it".

Regards.
