Nature Speaks.#4.
CADOC: Hello and welcome to Nature Speaks. (applause)The talk show that allows nature to give advice and experiences to humanity.
Today we are with a very important guest. If you have been following our episodes then this guest we have is probably the most unexpected. Maybe you never thought of it. We have with us Mr Sperm. Please read to the end. You may be surprised at what you didn't pay too much attention to.
SPERM: Thanks for having me.
CADOC: You're welcome. Since our viewers can't see you, we're talking to you via a microscope. I am wondering myself what you have for humanity. We're all ears.
SPERM: I would like to give a brief auto biography.
CADOC: Alright go on.
SPERM: I am what develops into a human so I would like you to see me as...let's say a very younger being. Now my message.
Many humans think they are losers. At work, school, home...in a competition or something. It could be anything. Well what I'll say is that. Before you became a human like you are now, you were like me. A sperm cell. You know, millions of sperms cells race so they get to the other cell wall for fertilization.
I am in this race too against the other millions of sperms cells.
It means the probability of me winning this race is 1 out of 1000000 or even less.
But you...you reading this right now. You too had that same probability or 1 out of 1000000. But who won, you did. Since you were born, it means in all the 1000000 sperms or so, you were the one that made it to the cell wall first.
You were the champion...the winner out of all those other cells. It means you were better, faster, stronger, more determined than all the other cell.
In some sense, you were the chosen one. So you are not a loser. You are a fighter. You are a winner. You have a purpose. No matter how useless you think you are. You certainly are not useless. You won your first competition, which was probably the most difficult.
And I can say this. You won it with your eyes closed. Because you certainly weren't aware of this when you were racing. But you won it. So don't always think you're a loser. If you keep on going and never stop, you'll realize you could can do it.
CADOC: Thanks a lot. I never thought of this before. Thanks for inspiring the human race.
SPERM: Thanks for having me.
CADOC: We wish you all the best in your race to the cell wall.
SPERM: Thank you.
CADOC: This was a long one viewer...but you read it to the end. That even proves how determined you are. Join us next time on Nature Speaks. Thanks for listening and stay safe out there. Continue to have an awesome day.
