PERMACULTURE- The self reliant way

Hello there our new topic is so amazing to understand the self reliant environment that supports us in so many ways and different aspects of our lives.

Permaculture was conceived and developed in the 1970s by co-workers Bill Mollinson and David Holmgren in Australia.

Originally the term was a short term of Permanent Agriculture for that is what it was, the design and implementation of permanent (sustainable) agricultural systems. Systems designed in this way tend to have closed energy cycles, being modelled on natural ecosystems, there should be minimal primary inputs such as chemical fertilisers.

The designed system should also have a high levels of inter-linkage. waste outputs from one part of the system being used as inputs for another part. The ideal is a closed cycle, where outputs become inputs, requiring no primary inputs and producing no waste products.

Permaculture is the science and practice of creating semi-permanent ecosystems of nature. Permatech is the technique employed in order to achieve it. The basic idea is to think of it like a terrarium that we live in and this will be a home for many small animals who will also nurture themselves and help protect our environment. Including birds and squirills.

Permaculture makes more sense when one keeps in mind the harms caused by conventional agriculture techniques, such as increasing soil salinity due to intense chemicals, high demand for water and the lack of organic matter in the soil.

Agricultural science today has the unfortunate outcome of separating the farmer from the soil, which is the life source for any plant. It is the most critical and least understood aspect of agriculture that has been reduced to just a few nutritious components (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium)

There is alot of scope for permaculture all over the world, that will feed us every day with all the fruits and vegetables and also by providing us the healthiest environment.
