Chapter 1 Being transferred
"Sam , come over I have something to say"my boss Mr Orlando called to me the moment I arrived at my desk. I rushed to his office"you called for me sir?"I asked as I entered.

"Damon can you please say something, you are already scaring me" I said frustrated already by the way he was behaving.
"Sam ,am sorry to be saying this but you are fired"he finally said earning a laugh from me.I was already used to him pranking me every now and then.
"Alright then, I guess I should be heading back to my office, but you are becoming better at lying from the seriousness you have showed " there was no way I was going to be fooled again by him.
Damon let out a heavy sigh shaking his head before looking at me seriously "I know that this sounds so funny Sam but I am damnn serious, I already hired my girlfriend to replace you"he said to me his voice carrying a hint of guilt.

Before he added"sorry that your imaginary tears had to go to waste" and hearing this, I glared at him and he continued grinning crossing his arms on his chest.
At least , I won't have to move up and down in search for a new job, I was really thankful to him .
I was meant to be happy that I got a job without any hustle but when I remember how people do talk about John Smiley, his cold, aloof , emotionless, I decided to leaf with Damon one last time.
"I'm really thankful for your offer but you can transfer me anywhere else except for that , I promise to be more obedient "I tried my chances.
I can't imagine myself working in the same environment as that cold man, Damon exactly what knew this man's aloof and arrogant behavior, why then would he push a rabbit to a lion's den.
I was still acting lady in demsel when the dooknob twisted, and there she was, Lillian Hayes the one responsible for my misery right now.

That's relaxing, I won't have to go to my new workplace hovering around with my staff, so thoughtful of him .I said as I headed to pick up my purse to leave the office.
I carried my purse and moved out of the building, I can't believe this is my last time working here.
