Middle class and education
Are you from that generation, which has seen parents struggling to cope up with the system. Do you still remember, when your school teacher asked money for the trip ,and your parents felt reluctant. But finally you got the money and felt that guilt of, creating financial pressure.
Were you always reminded that your previous generations have seen difficulties. That you need to study harder and get a good career ,so that you can support your family.
If it happened with you, you belong to middle class family .
It's so much middle that ,it keeps fighting to swim to the top ,to find the fresh air of system, but can not reach it. And can never see themselves drown to the base of ocean , not being aware that they are just one step above the base. It's just that, they are hanging in between and have their faces up in the air , constantly looking to the sky.
We must understand that it's the preformed mechanism of the society which pulls you to the sea bottom. From Financial system, and economy of the world, to your near dear ones who never wanted you to succeed.
Keeping external factors aside ,let's deduce what are the factors within the middle class family system which enforces the barrier and holds them within the frame.
Middle class system have a notion that , Education is the only escape from your present condition. You will become doctors ,engineers, and get a good Job when you study. Basically Education is seen as a tool to earn money. You are told to study harder, achieve your goal, and get into the race of survival. And hence you are told to focus only on one thing.
This strategy was correct, before information technology took the world view. But Middle class are still in hangover of the system. Whereas world has progressed into multipurpose activities and information techs. Education is now a tool of understanding and research ,about whatever profession you choose rather than a tool of earning money.
Hence it's necessary to participate in more than one activity to survive and be in race. Only Education and that too for profession will make you fall back and loose the race.
Career based on only education, costs time and makes you dependent on family for a long time. Whereas people who are aware enough, and started a profession of their passion, succeeded in the system.
