I was walking with God one day and everything was good, and everything was at peace, but He said to me would you trust me? He said it one more time to me; would you trust me? I said God you know I will trust you; He said but would you? I answered God trust is what I will do I promise. Up ahead it got black, and lightening was striking; I said God I think I will stay here where it's peaceful because that storm looks bad.
It's peaceful here God, but He said we can't we need to go to the otherside there's more for you. Well God can we go around this bad storm? Can we go over it and not under it God? He looks at me and says son would a Father who loves you hurt you? I said of course not God.
He said cannot I bring you to the otherside? I said yes you can but that's a big storm God and I'm afraid. I'm afraid God, but Jesus put's His hands on my face and says the difference is looking at me and not this storm. He said don't look at the storm keep your eyes upon me. He takes my hand and we walk in the storm and I look at Him in the storm; it's windy and it's raining hard but I keep my eyes on Him.
I feel like I'm getting lost in this lightening; God you see me right it's hard to see you! God said I got your hand keep walking in the storm son. Woah God that lightening was close and He yells out I GOT YOU! Finally after sometime in that storm we come to a calm; peaceful river and He said see son you can trust me because I will bring you through the worst parts of life and a I hugged him and said yes sir I can.
I knelt on my knees and said you brought me through and you led me by your hand I love you Jesus. Jesus takes me and stands me up; He said I put you in the bad part because I want you to trust me and I want you to see that God can lead you. We looked over the peaceful river and the beautiful sky that's at rest.
