Broken bits of me 99
Didn't realize how fast the first ten days of this year passed by. We haven't been home for a year now. We faced the Lockdown 2021 together.

Classes were moved back to online mode, Clinical duty was stopped for all the students. We requested to go home, initially, we were denied and later it was too late to make a move, so we stayed in the hostel throughout.

We would lie around in rooms, sleep late, join the class links and just sleep through it.

Photo sessions became an everyday thing. Every day someone or the other would be seen glamouring up and setting fire on social media. We even started evening Zumba sessions to cut off the extra pounds that we had put on overtime.

Horror movies and ghost stories were the nightime schedule.

A particular room became our habitat. Every day, after waking up and going through the usual course of activities we would gather in that room, one after the other. We would talk for hours, watch movies, make some new snacks by mixing the available food items.

Those lockdown days made our bond stronger, it made us grow closer to each other. We started to value what we had and focus on that instead of whining about how things could have been different.

And now we moved on to this new year together. This was our first new year away from home and we made the best of it. With whatever resources we had, we set up the place, we all dolled up for ourselves and bid adios to 2021 and welcomed 2022 with best hopes and wishes for one another.
