Simi kept hunting through the books in the library, its been and hour and she was about to give in. Just before she was thinking of backing, her hands fell on the right book.
'Yes, found it!!' She screamed with pleasure.
'Quiet' the librarian replied with a serious tone.
Simi always had a interest in supernatural power, or what we call ghost. She has been reading books on paranormal activities and watching shows. She keeps researching on this things, even after her family's disapproval. She could never do this professionally. Therefore after her studies, she read books and did her research on this.
This book has been her dream. She kept on looking for this. This book contained information about all sorts of ghostly stuff. She was excited about reading it. She returned to her room, got refreshed and started reading. She kept on reading. She got absorbed in the book. Devils, witches, vampires, souls and lot more.
Simi's phone rang. Her mom called. She did not pick up. She muted it. Her mom called her over and over again. The book she was reading was scary and dangerous. Not all could handle the fear, if the person did not have enough nerve. Simi got engrossed into it. Her mother got worried. Her mother wanted to talk to her. Simi had come to such a point where she was reading a very interesting part. A part that everyone was not supposed to read. It was a special part. It was cursed. It could question a person's life. Simi knew it was not safe. She did not care.
The next morning her mother rushed to her hostel room. It was locked. No one answered. At last they had to break open to door. The book that Simi was reading was open on the table. Simi asleep on the book. Not asleep for then but forever. She was motionless. A lifeless body lay. Simi was no more.
