My Heroine
#MothersDayStory
The time had come to start my journey. I leaned out of the window, waving as long as I could while she disappeared into the distance.
I kept driving, trying hard to focus, but my tears are threatening to blur my vision anytime now. My heart cringe with an unknown sadness and worry.
Will I do well? Will my mom be OK on her own? I'm going to leave her behind.. After 25 years of sticking on to her so much. Tagging her to everywhere. Being able to see her when I get home everyday. Being able to hear her nag me whole day. Being able to enjoy the hot piping food on the table.
At this point, you may think my mom and I had the best mother and daughter relationship so far. No, we did not. But it's not bad. Just, there was a point of time, my mom was depressed (and I was obviously too young to know) with everything. My dad, her life, money, people around her, having me and my siblings to feed, her work, and the list goes on. Thou I have to say, my dad was like the 99% of the reason.
What happened?...
