28th September
As the car's wheels rolled along, I could feel my heart, heavy as it is, pulse to the music flowing into my ears.
A melody was the perfect distraction for such an occasion. I couldn't still believe my ears for two days straight.
"It's for the best honey. Your father just landed a new job and I bet you that this one can afford us to buy you a cadillac or maybe a rolls Royce." Mother beamed, sitting beside father at the dining table like the supportive wife she always is.
I stared blankly.
"Mom I'm not an idiot. I know we are shifting because of Aurelius. "
"Well," Mother started guiltily, "A comes before B so..." She went on to fork some leaves from the salad at her plate into her mouth. She didn't want me to say anything more.
I turned to dad.
"It's for the best Billy. We can't risk him being in this neighbourhood. We can now ditch this lifestyle and adopt a much more peaceful way to life." Dad said humbly, reaching his hand out to mine for comfort.
I refrained.
Then my blank stare slowly became a glare and I directed it to the seed that sprouted all this bumshit.

"Wait i think you take this sharp left turn...
