Abscond the darkness ( Chapter - 18 )
Author's P.O.V.

It was night time , Julia sat on her window pane looking out of the opened window , when she heard a rummaging sound and flinched standing back up from the window , seeing a hand grabbing the window's edges.

"Y-You..a-"

She was going to scream but then she heard a voice a small but manly voice .

"Yeah main hu Nathan."
(It's me , Nathan.)

And Julia stopped in her tracks freezing for a moment then quickly helped him up and looked at him , he had grown up so much , Julia remembered the last time she saw him , he was 9 that means he must be 19 years old now.

He had jet-black hair that falls in thick waves, framing his face with a touch of mystery. His eyes are a captivating shade of brown, reminiscent of honey, and they hold a depth that reflects his strong personality. His presence is truly captivating, leaving a lasting impression on anyone who crosses his path.

"Nathan? Is that really you?"

Julia spoke in a low and almost in a disbelief voice looking at him and he just nodded , the moment he nodded , Julia embraced him wrapping her arms around him and a small almost non visible smile embraced Nathan's lips.

"I am here to repay the favour , you saved me before now it's my turn."

He spoke hugging her back , his hands enveloping her body , his breath can be felt on her neck his voice almost a whisper near her ear and the sweetness in the atmosphere around them intensified.

"Humne bohot prateeksha kari tumhari."
(I waited a long time for you.)

She spoke with teary eyes and he tilted her head up with his left hand , tilting her chin up with his thumb and index finger , his right hand wrapped around her bare waist as she wore the saree , which sent butterflies in her stomach , making her twitch slightly.

"I am sorry , I won't let you wait for me ever again."

He spoke in a low and soothing tone wiping the tears from her eyes with his thumb gently caressing her cheek , with a small smile. For a second there , Julia couldn't believe this was the same unfeeling and cold boy she met 10 years ago.
