MY PUBLIC SPEAKING JOURNEY
I DID IT AGAIN!

We had a seminar presentation on a particular course yesterday which was complete public speaking, the devil of stage fright was gradually creeping in, and I was gradually losing my words but somehow, I was able to get back on track.

At the end of the seminar, I conducted a survey on my performance. I asked some of my coursemates who were present at the seminar to give me their honest feedback on my performance since I didn't have anyone record me while I was speaking.

I got really good reviews, however, there were honest criticisms which I've taken note of and would be working on. that's the purpose of the survey.

I took the time to reflect on how I could improve my public speaking skills based on the feedback I received, I decided to take action and put my plans to practice.

I'm prepared to tackle future public speaking opportunities.

So, if you're looking forward to becoming a public speaking pro, in as much as you'll have to practice and practice, it's good that you solicit feedback or ratings from an audience or a group of friends after a presentation.

It can be very helpful to receive constructive feedback to learn from and improve your skills.

For example, you could ask your audience or friends what they got out of your presentation, or what topic they were most interested in. That way, you'll tend to improve your public speaking skill.

With time, you'll be well on your way to becoming a confident and skilled speaker.

As the saying goes, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step", are you ready to take the first step on your journey?

Thanks for reading and best of luck on your Journey to becoming a skilled speaker. ❤️
