The old house stood dilapidated and full of memories.
Zara had always loved the old house that belonged to her grandparents. She had spent many summers there, playing with her cousins and listening to her grandma's stories. The house was full of memories, but also full of dust and cobwebs. It had been abandoned for years, ever since her grandparents passed away.
One day, Zara decided to visit the old house again. She wanted to see if anything had changed, and maybe find some old photos or souvenirs. She took a bus to the village where the house was located, and walked along the familiar path. She saw the house from a distance, standing dilapidated and lonely.
She reached the gate and pushed it open. It creaked loudly, as if protesting her intrusion. She walked up to the door and knocked. No one answered. She tried the handle and found it unlocked. She entered the house and felt a chill run down her spine.
