"So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13).
Why does love superceded hope and faith? Because hope and faith cannot be great in abundance while in the presence of fear, and God's "perfect love casts out all fear" (1 John 4:18).
Let hope and faith arise in you. And even moreover let God's perfect love arise, so you may live life abundantly- lacking no good thing.
