Extract I (from Miller)
She looked at her trembling fingers before she asked, " W-w-what, is this feeling?"
He took a deep breath and said, "It is the feeling you get when you want someone but you know you can't have them because neither one of you has the courage to confess their feelings." his monotonous tone got nerves shivering up and down her spine, tears started suffusing in her eyes and she quickly looked away as her face reddened. He lifted his hand as though he were about to pat her back, as soon as he was about to touch her, his hand swiftly moved back to his face and gesticulated into a fist. Feeling defeated, he got up from his chair without even looking back, he walked away carrying a melancholy look on his face. He stepped outside the cafe to take a breath, and suddenly they simultaneously looked back, he pushed open the door and she rushed towards it, he stared at her tear filled face and said, "We don't have to say anything, let's just let our feelings take control, at least for this moment in case it might be the last time."
she wiped off her tears and and took his hand in hers, their faces magnetically approached one another, their eyes lazily closing, their lips met for the first time and took a deep breath inhaling the atmosphere as was, he embraced her so passionately she almost lost her balance,
"darn it, I need a change of scenery." she thought to herself.
As though he was reading her mind he took her hand and went out the cafe. hand in hand they walked to the lake nearby. A blue moon was high up in the clear sky and it's manganate was rippling on the surface of the water. The stars were glistening as light being shone on diamonds. ...
