An Unexpected Question
....

'Do you want to be an entrepreneur?',
Asked Thounaojam.... I was taken by surprise, but yes it was indeed a genuine question but it has surprised me more than anything because it had once been my dream for which I had worked hard.
My friend Phajabi and me, when we were in college had drawn deep plans for it ....but then .... the luck hadn't favoured much, our college and other work didn't complimented our career, so we remained engrossed with other things and then due to some unexplained circumstances it was that we opted for different carriers, it was an early morning of August 14, 2019
when Thounaojam arrived from Manipur, we met on 15 August (a day after his arrival),we shared Tea and snacks at my place and conversed about our respective life and career, it was then that he told me that his thesis on "Dams" wasn't much a success with some top journals of the world and for time being he wanted to divert from more research, and was looking for some top journal to get his thesis accepted and hence wanted to have a back up option, laid out his plan for entrepreneurship,
I had known Thounaojam as a positive and undefeatable person ...... Excited I was all ears
I was indeed glad that he was trying to harness and chalk out a different path, and also wanted to employ and organize people in turn helping them
so we delibrated over this for a little while, the enthusiasm with which I discussed the details with him, might have left him thinking, & after my explanation and few nice words he promptly asked me, Ebehaibi! Do you want to be an entrepreneur? for a moment I went numb but then gained my composure and replied ,"once I wanted to be and one day will plan for that, As for now I am happy in what I am doing maybe the path I have chosen has its own new ventures & adventures and challenges but I feel relieved when I serve my country and it is also expected from the country people to follow their call of duty and serve the country in their own capacity, As enshrined in Fundamental Duties for citizen...and they are non justifiable, Do you know why? I asked him, he shook his head,No tell me.... I said, can you recall that Constitution derives it's power from people of India, and the constitution was drafted placing a lot of trust in people, and a powerful notion that people are aware about their morals, duties and rights and are sure to serve there country at the cost of their lives, nothing is important then your call of duty ! As for extensive entrepreneurship, Thounaojam it's your time and duty to harness the potential of people and lead them to organize themselves better..... I further continued, Maybe, after retirement I can join you, but as for now my passion dwells in serving my country with fervour ....And to do justice to my dreams of entrepreneurship ...i will come back to it some other day......
By this time Thounaojam had a very thoughtful look and summing conclusion replied ...yes ! you are right Ebehaibi, everything has it's own time so never give up or drop the idea! Your dreams will come true sooner or later. We have noticed many people around us whose hobbies whisks away with time due to several reason, sometimes even passion is given a setback and it's true what sometimes remain is either a choice to work or to inculcate it as passion!

Post scriptum - don't forget to be inspired from Colonel Sanders our KFC entrepreneur or Mr John Ra wl who provided the world with pathbreaking' Theory Of Justice Rawlism '-- summing up all individuals should be given equal right irrespective of their background or anything.....! They both were successful only in their 50's.
