isn't it true?
Sometimes I get very sad whenever I think about the female gender, the oppression and abuse they have had to face since time immemorial leaves me with a frowning face. It's a shame that the practices of showing the girls and women submissively has not yet stopped.
It's good that we talk about equal rights and equal status in our society. But, we have to understand the fact that just making people aware or conveying the messages isn't the answer to all the problems. Today, we feel proud that our education system has risen to great heights and so we can make ourselves more cognizant of being a free and proud society. It is true, but we are still missing the root cause. We will never have our resolutions if we keep on beating around the bush.
The beginnings of the situations were in the days of hunting and gathering. Power and strength were the key to earning a living in those days. The men gained prominence, and the women became supporting pillars. They stood strong with their men.
The problem was still not a problem then. We know it well that when one becomes powerful; it becomes hard to take the taste and privilege back from them. So, it turned into an addiction for the men.
By now you are thinking, why am I saying you all this? What’s the use of it when you already know it all? It's because when we say that our education has made us strident enough to raise our voice against any injustice and win anything through revolution, would be a misconception. Even though it's me who said it, I still believe education plays a major role in our lives. It teaches us how to be better and helps in ameliorating our faculties of life. Anyway, getting back to my point, it's the time and the ways of life that played the major role to where today's women are now. As I already told you, the past was the time of strength and so man got the first preference. Now, when our lifestyle changed with devices and gadgets, anybody with brains can achieve anything now. So it was not only us who were thinking about our people, but a higher energy is also there fighting for us.
If you have read it till now, you would understand what I wanted to say. It's sad that our own mother, sister, wife, girls, women had to pay too much. But, the abuses or the injustice done to them were nothing to do with gender. It was, and till now, it's a fight between the powerful against the weak. The Ego, Selfish motives, has ruined it all and we never talk about these problems. Just look when an injustice happens, but only as a human and with no bias or any motives. You will have your answer. This is a high time for us to lead a conscious life to find the actual problems and learn to deal with it. It will only be possible if we search our inmost and accept a comprehensive approach to life without any prejudices.
