I guess I was lost in the dark, not path to be lit and no teeth to smile. I guess I was blind, eyes covered with your lies. I guess I forgot who I really was, who was behind your mask of lies. I am no puppet, the strings you made are gone. I am no mistake, so forgot ever trying to erase me.
I am me, not another toy for you to play with. I am who I am, not a child you are desperate to tease.
The past will not haunt me no more, I have friends, ones less like yours. I guess they are better than you, understandable of how others feel. I guess you were right, life is better without you.
