Keeping Memories ( Part 1 )
I remember those old days even now. Relationships that were like sweet and sour are no longer a part of my life today. He will never come back, even if I wanted him to, because he is no longer with us. I feel the need to share those old memories with you. My name is Anvi, and at that time, I was 22 years old. I was actively interviewing at various companies in search of a job. Finally, I landed a job at the office of my friend Indrani's elder brother, where Indrani also worked.

On my first day at the office, while I was heading to the restroom, I witnessed a boy threatening Indrani. In response, I grabbed his hair and gave him a beating. He quickly fled the scene. Suddenly, a woman appeared in front of me and complimented my fighting skills. She introduced herself as Indrani's mother, Rakhi. She expressed her gratitude for saving her daughter and mentioned that she would file a case against the boy for threatening Indrani. After our brief exchange, she left.

The following day, President Ritam criticized me for not completing my work properly and threw my file on the floor. Indrani had warned me that whenever her elder brother Ritam was in a bad mood, he tended to behave like this, even when someone was doing the right thing. However, after re-checking my work multiple times, I couldn't find any mistakes. With confidence, I asked him to carefully review my file before passing judgment. Surprisingly, Ritam examined the file, acknowledged that the work was indeed fine, and then left without an apology. I couldn't help but think to myself, "How rude of him."

Rakhi witnessed all these incidents. The next day, while I was asleep, Rakhi visited our house. My mom woke me up and asked me to get ready, and that's when I noticed Ritam was also at our house. I wonder why he had come over and get irritated to see him.
