The time for my wedding finally arrived,I was dressed in a white gown and adorned with golden ornaments.My brown hair was left in waves making my face appear a little bit broader.My handmaids had done a good job.
When I entered the room in which my wedding was taking place,I felt all eyes on me and that made me shy.I bowed down infront of my dad,the king,and then took a seat next to my mom who smiled at me then I smile back.I sat there quietly, my head bowed slightly.
In about a minutes time,the groom made a grand entrance looking handsome and alluring as always.Many people gasped as they had not seen someone as handsome as this in their entire lives.Long black shiny hair,beautiful hazel eyes,pink thin lips,very tall,damn he looked like a greek god.His abs can be seen clearly even under his royal attire.He is god damn hot.
But that didn't make me feel any butterflies in my tummy as most princesses say they felt.Instead,there was a huge knot in my tummy.I couldn't do this, but it was too late,we had already exchanged our vows.It was time to go to my new home.I would really miss my mom.
Before I left,I hugged my mom,"Mom I will miss you,I'll try to visit or at least send you letters every year."I assured mom who was reluctant about me leaving.When I walked to the carriage,I realised King Liam Sanderson had been waiting for me.He opened the door for me then I got into the carriage.
"Thanks your highness"I said .He gave a charming smile and also entered then said",There's no need for formalities.Just call me Liam"."Ok"I said.
"Liam may I ask you a question?",I asked.
"Of course,my queen",he smirked.
Victoria just stared puzzled by the word he used for her."Didn't you say there was no need to be formal with each other?Just call me Victoria".
"Alright Vic"he said charmingly"which question did you want to ask me?"he continued.
"Err...Do you have other wives ?"she asked.
"No",he said ,she was relieved to hear that .But what came next was a blow to her face."But I'll need to marry more wives to get more allies,you know what they say,'more allies mean more power',and I already have many mistresses.There is Nora,Gina,Krissy,Alice and other more ".
Hearing that,Victoria became indignant so she became silent.Liam noticed the awkward silence and asked her,"Jealous?".
"No I'm not!"she exclaimed and laughed to herself ,"why will he think I am jealous? I don't even like him".There continued to be the awkward silence until they reached home.
