William & The McVities Factory
"Will this ever end?" I ask myself as I enter my apartment. Dark and still as it can be, I, however, love the feel of it. Finally, some peace and silence. At first, it used to feel strange living alone by myself but as time went by I became used to it more than ever. At times, I do feel it would be best if I had a roommate over but then I think against it, since I prefer being alone.
The warm shower soothes my tired body and the macaroni cheese fills my hunger. I mindlessly scroll through my social media app until my eyes fill heavy. Keeping the phone aside on my nightstand after setting up an alarm on it, I lie in bed waiting for sleep to engulf me. It's tiresome and frustrating working for the factory though the pay is good. I can't wait to do something more in life, I think wishfully and try to motivate myself that I won't always be where I am right now as sleep overcomes me.
My shift begins at 3pm at the factory. Another day of packing and counting biscuits while I'm studying to count and calculate tons of money, I say annoyed. I guess, I'll make an excellent candidate for an accountant position because apparently Maths seems to be more loyal to me than any of my exes could. I get to the entrance of the factory at around 2.20pm as it's preferred to be 30 mins early for all employee shifts. I meet up with my fellow colleagues and we're all instructed to wait as the guard informs us about our supervisor being a bit late. Great! I say as I sigh to myself.
I stand there completely annoyed and in the next moment I spot someone approaching the factory. She's wearing a grey jacket and a loose black t-shirt with maroon leggings along with a black coloured backpack that's double strapped on her shoulders. Her raven hair is in a bun and if one looks close enough then they'd notice the faint curves of her body that the oversized t-shirt fails to hide. As she...
