She sat in the room waiting for husband
It was their wedding night
Strangers who were until yesterday, were now husband and wife
She was nervous and anxious sitting on the bed
And thought the same would be his feelings too
Hoping to start this journey by knowing each other
But it was nothing like what she had thought it would be
When her husband came inside the room drunk
He held her hand and brought her close to him at once
She resisted, he further gripped her tight
"Is this how we start our new life together," she yelled at him
" Let's enjoy the first night, we have enough time to talk about our lives later," was his replied, as he pushed her on the bed
With tears in her eyes she tried to free herself, but in vain, she finally surrendered
He quenched his lust, by forcing himself on her
When he was done, he turned around and slept
She was broken, her feelings were crushed
Tears rolled down her eyes, with nothing more to say she wiped her tears and slept.
